The current MoveMy.House planning policy starts studios and most one-bedroom homes with 2 movers, two-bedroom homes with 3 movers, three-bedroom homes with 3 movers, and four-bedroom homes with 4 movers. Large one-, three-, four-, and five-plus-bedroom inventories can move up only within the published home-size cap.

When an additional mover can help
- A one-bedroom has unusually high furniture or storage volume
- A three- or four-bedroom home has multiple beds, offices, appliances, or garage inventory
- The building has long corridors, controlled elevator windows, or difficult loading access
- The customer needs a larger job completed inside a narrow building schedule
A lower hourly rate is not always a lower total
Two movers cost less per hour, but the same workload can take longer. The estimator compares workload with crew policy and then shows both the hourly rate and billable time, so the customer can audit the result instead of assuming that the smallest crew is automatically cheapest.

Can I request more movers than the automatic recommendation?
The advanced estimator accepts a crew preference, but the current policy caps it by home size. The company can review unusual jobs separately before booking.
Does AI choose the crew?
No. AI may extract home-size and inventory hints. Deterministic backend policy selects and caps the planning crew.
