Information collected

The first estimate can be calculated without a name, phone number or email. The application processes route entries, inventory, access, packing choices, budget and estimate settings. When a customer asks to save or receive an estimate, the submitted contact details and estimate are stored.

Address and route services

When Google Maps integrations are enabled, address text and route requests are processed by Google Maps Platform to provide address suggestions, distance and normal drive time. The final production policy must link to the applicable provider terms and explain any additional data handling required by the selected configuration.

Voice input

Voice input uses the customer’s browser speech-recognition capability when available. The resulting text is inserted into the move-description field. This application does not create or store an audio recording.

Analytics and attribution

The site can store landing page, referrer, UTM parameters, session identifier and conversion events. This supports source attribution, including visits from search engines and AI assistants. Sensitive form values are not included in routine analytics events.

Saved plans and internal follow-up

Configured internal systems may store a saved plan or notify MoveMy.House staff. Saving does not send contact or move-plan details to a moving company. Customer text messages require both text preference and SMS consent. Any future transmission to a named company requires a separate authorization describing the recipient and purpose. Each technical service used for storage or delivery is governed by its own terms.

Private Move Scope exports

A Move Scope JSON or print export contains move details such as addresses, inventory, packing and access, but excludes the customer’s name, phone and email. Export links use a random access token, are marked noindex, and expire after 30 days. Anyone who receives the private link may be able to view the scope, so customers should share it carefully.

Completed-move feedback

When a customer voluntarily reports the result, authorized staff may record the moving company, actual crew size, actual hours, final moving charge and a general variance reason. This information is used to evaluate planning accuracy. Any future public reporting will be aggregated and anonymized; exact customer addresses and direct contact details will not be published.
