How the MoveMy.House planning range is built

Inputs used

The engine uses home size, square footage, item quantities, benchmark handling work, packing requested from the crew, access at both addresses, truck walking distance, confirmed heavy items, route distance, normal drive time, retained materials, move date, and any customer-selected crew preference.

Planning time

Item benchmarks represent crew work. Phase-specific productivity converts that work into elapsed crew time so multiple movers are not treated as one person working sequentially. Home size sets the primary crew range; inventory and operational complexity may raise the crew only within that range.

Planning price

The result applies the published crew-rate model to elapsed billable time, then shows configured travel treatment, overtime, access or heavy-item additions, and retained materials separately. The result includes a midpoint and a planning range to make ordinary uncertainty visible.

What AI can and cannot do

Configured language models may extract furniture, quantities, home-size hints, packing status, access details, and route text from a customer description. The customer can edit the extracted fields. AI cannot change rates, policy thresholds, crew caps, or the pricing result.

Saving and sharing

Saving a move plan stores it for internal follow-up and does not send it to a moving company. Any future transmission to a named company requires a separate, purpose-specific authorization and is not part of the current public workflow.

Move Scope v1 export

The JSON and printable exports are recalculated on the server from the submitted move inputs. Each export receives a version, SHA-256 content fingerprint, private access token, and 30-day expiration. The export contains no customer name, phone, or email, and creating it does not authorize sharing with a moving company.

Planned versus actual data

When a customer voluntarily reports a completed move, authorized staff can record the moving company, actual crew, actual hours, final moving charge, and the reason for a material difference. Public cost summaries will use reviewed, anonymized completed moves only, exclude tips, suppress exact addresses, and state the sample size and update date. No public average is published until the minimum reviewed sample is met.

Planning limitation

The online result is not a mover estimate, quote, Agreement for Moving Services, booking, or Not-to-Exceed price. Any moving company considered by the customer must conduct its required review and issue its own controlling documents.
