Planning purpose

The calculator applies the published company configuration to the route, inventory, packing, access and materials entered by the customer. It produces an estimated midpoint and planning range for comparison and lead qualification.

Customer-provided assumptions

The result is only as complete as the submitted information. Hidden items, incorrect quantities, unavailable parking, building restrictions, long carries, specialty equipment and other job-day conditions may change the work.

Route data

When Google Routes is configured, the site uses returned one-way distance and normal drive duration. Otherwise the user may enter those values manually. Actual traffic and route conditions can vary.

Published planning model

The current planning configuration uses a $159 hourly starting assumption for two movers and one truck, a three-hour minimum, a $40 hourly increment for each additional mover, a configured travel treatment, an overtime schedule and disclosed stair, heavy-item and materials additions. These inputs support independent planning; they do not represent a moving company’s rate or binding offer.

Independent planning software

MoveMy.House provides an online planning calculator and saved move-plan workflow. It does not perform, assign, dispatch, negotiate, or book the physical move. Saving a plan does not send it to a moving company.

Move Scope exports

Move Scope JSON and printable documents are independent planning records, not moving-company estimates or offers. Export links are private bearer links and expire after 30 days. The customer is responsible for reviewing the details and controlling who receives the exported document or link.

Booking documents

A move is not booked by calculating, saving or sharing an online planning range. A confirmed job requires the selected mover’s legal identity and permit information, confirmed scope, applicable written moving documents and a Not-to-Exceed amount where required.

Controlling terms

A moving company’s signed documents control any physical moving service purchased directly from that company. MoveMy.House terms control only use of the planning software.
